“MAKS-NN” company was founded in 1994. The major occupation of the company is producing pour point depressants and viscosity modifiers for engine, hydraulic and gear oils under “Maxoil” trademark.

For more than 20 years “MAKS-NN” has been working in the direction of import-substitution, producing Russian analogues of the imported additives. Constant developing, creating new products and advancing the existing ones have helped “MAKS-NN” to become one of the leaders of Russian market and replace products of such foreign companies as Infineum, Lubrizol and Evonik.

At the end of 2011 we launched a new industrial site at “Dzerzhinsk Orgsteklo”, JSC, which allowed us to considerably increase the production capacity and expand our product range.

In 2012 we started producing a new pour point depressant with higher polymethyl acrylate content and better technical-and-economic indexes. It is used in a wide range of lubricants with a low input percentage.

In 2013 we launched the production of viscosity modifiers “Maxoil-V2” and “Maxoil-V3” for gear and hydraulic olils. They were created by our own research laboratory.

According to the plan, in 2015 we are launching a new unit for the production of “Maxoil-V” viscosity modifier designed for engine oils.

“MAKS-NN” company is continually involved into scientific research aimed at upgrading quality characteristics of already existing products and creating new ones. Over a five-year period more than 200 000 000 rubles were invested into scientific research and industrial development. The volume of additives production tripled and the customer share of “Maxoil” additives used by Russian oil refinery plants grew to 60%.

“Maxoil” is used by Russian and non-Russian companies, the largest of which are “Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez” Ltd., “Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka” Ltd., “Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez” Ltd., “Novokuibyshevsk plant of oils and additives” Ltd., “Angarsk Petrochemical Company” JSC, “Mendeleev YANPZ” JSC, “Gazpromneft-OMPZ” JSC, “Orenburg Neftemaslozavod” JSC, “Naftan” JSC, “Bashneft-Novoil” JSC, and others.
